The EO Mini Pro 2 reads the power being generated by your solar panels and matches it with power from the grid. You can set this charging window during the day to top up your vehicle from the sun.

Using the EO Smart Home app, you can set when your vehicle will charge according to the output of your solar array. Here's how it works:

1) Your vehicle will charge at the same rate as the output of the solar array.

2) If the solar output drops below the specified minimum rate (e.g. sun goes behind a cloud) then the vehicle will charge at the minimum rate. It is not safe for a vehicle to repeatedly stop and start charging and so the minimum rate will always guarantee the charging rate.

3) The Recommended minimum rate is 6A.



The EO Mini Pro 2 offers power balancing at home with an additional CT clamp. It can read the incoming feed to the building, take into account the building energy usage and calculate a final amount of power that is then distributed to the charger.

Our latest home charger reads the incoming power feed every second and reduces the power output when other home appliances, such as a water heater, are turned on. Once the water heater is turned off, the charger will automatically read the available power and increase the power output to the maximum available level.
